Do Christians basically believe that God "POOF" everything into existence?

No, because the Bible does not say HOW God created everything. It states that, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." An order is then listed with regard to the Earth, as to one event following another. Time is required for each of the sequences, where light took over from darkness, where order was created out of chaos, and filling out of emptiness. So, no "Poof!" and instant everything.

sorry. Laughing. You do know "poof" is another word for a condition that God, according to His true believers, really doesn't like and for which He, in His infinite mercy, carpet-bombed and napalmed Sodom? The word probably doesn't fly in the same way in the USA, but over here a "poof" has exactly the same association and meaning as a "fag". The idea God called everything into being from an act of gay sex is quite amusing.

Only some of us do, maybe the majority.
But of course not even God can create something out of nothing. It's impossible.

You mean "POOFED". Yes, evidently that's what they believe.

He spoke it, yes He spoke it and it was. He is God, He can do that

Yup ... POOF! ... that's their story and they're stickin' to it.

"For He spoke and it came to be; He commanded and it stood fast." Psalm 33:9, 6. Compare Heb. 1 and John 1.

No. God always uses the natural order he created.

Yes, the universe came into existence at His command. Obviously it has changed tremendously since its original creation.

No one "poof." Work on your English.
