I am not but for some reason there have been people that have suggested that I should. I don't know if they really thought that I should or they were codependent.

lol, well, there's nothing wrong with knocking back Prozac.
Though, if you don't need it, then why do it? Hmm.

Prozac & the other selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors (S.S.R.I.'s) are a class of drugs that are still commonly prescribed as antidepressants for the treatment of major depression, anxiety & post-traumatic stress.  They're the most widely prescribed antidepressant in most of the "western" world, but may not be the most effective treatment for less-severe depression.  They have some serious side-effects.

They aren't the sort of thing to take unless a trained medical professional has prescribed them, & is examining you on a regular basis.

I've never used them, but others who have had to have the prescription stopped due to their development of suicidal thoughts.
