Do you post this question every cold and flu season?

How many have died of Covid only? no other pre existing morbidities?  I believe they can be counted on one hand, only as the comorbidities were previously undiagnosed.  It's not Covid, it is diabetes and heart failure and on and on.  We all gotta go sometime.

As Stalin said "A single death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic". An average of 2,830,680  Americans die every year. And every year I know a few and morn my lost but I cannot morn for almost 3 million people I have never met. Others must morn them.

I don't think that everyone sees it that way, but there are definitely some people who don't care about anything until it affects them or someone they care about directly.
