why are more people right handed than left handed?

Like why is the right hand usually the dominant hand? Does it have something to do with the brain or something else??

One theory is that because people do their linguistic processing in the left-hand side of the brain, which also controls right-handed writing.  Left-handed people represent approximately 10% of the world's population.

Catholic clergy and their schools nudged and beat children into "being" righthanded.

Armies used weapons and tools designed for righthanded use, wich meant that lefthanded people had a harder time defending themselves (and surviving to pass on genetics)

Present-era computers use righthandedness as default

Why do so many more people have brown eyes than blue eyes? Just the vagaries of genetics.
