Because Oregon's governor permits this behavior.  Also, the mayor of Portland does.

By making one token, small attack on Democratic Headquarters, it allows the argument that maybe they aren’t liberal after all.  It would be like Trump criticizing a single Republican and people saying “see, he’s not conservative after all”.

Fake news.  There is no such organization with members called Anitfa, it is just a description for the anti-fascist movement. Trump's own FBI already told us that. The problem America has is with the Far Right. The FBI says they are responsible for more death on American soil than all foreign attacks combined. They are the new ISIS, white supremacists. The WTM (white trash matters)  is a violent group formed in response to the peaceful BLM movement.  They fill Americas trailer parks all over the nation, but especially down south. Most, even those who do have high school degrees are probably a bit low than average in IQ, do mostly unskilled labor, and are Trump supporters.  I'm not talking about the good Republicans out there, these WTM folks are anarchist White trash.

There's no proof as of yet that they were "Antifa" and indeed they spray painted anarchist symbols on their handiwork. "Anarchists" and those subscribing to the political philosophy known as 

"Antifa" are not necessarily the same thing. 

Anarchists are against ALL forms of gov't, "Antifa" is against fascistic gov't. Just like not ALL Republicans believe in 'stolen elections' and QAnon or encourage stupid people to storm the Capitol building, just a certain subset of Republicans.
