Why is it okay for Biden to bomb Syria, but when trump did it, they called it a war crime?

You no doubt have your mind already made up. As does everyone regarding politics, they don't care what is right or wrong no matter what. The difference between Biden and Trump is in the action with trump he targeted a specific person, in that of killing of General Suleimani. Biden was acting on the attacks of our American soldiers. Sometimes you need to just act quick and effectively. Protecting our American troops should always be front and center.

My feeling on these matters is that it's best left up to our Intelligence. There will forever be animosity between Republicans and Democrats with each side thinking they are right and can do it better and the public being their cheerleaders. It's been like that since the beginning of politics. We as civilians actually don't know anything regarding this stuff, as it should be. All we can offer up is a lot of armchair opinions. The United States Intelligence Community is a group of separate United States government intelligence agencies and subordinate organizations, that work separately and together to conduct intelligence activities to support the foreign policy and national security of the United States so let them do the job we hired them to do. If more people would leave their bias buried they may learn that both our presidents did what they felt was best at the time.

Trump's was just an episode of a reality show. He called Putin told him he was going to do it, This was so everyone could get out of the way. He wanted to show that he cared about the children Assad gassed. He didn't. It was to change the narrative.

Biden's is a comprehensive policy developed under Obama.

The Obama Doctrine calls for targeted airstrikes, targeted commando raids, drones in conjunction with our allies the Kurds.

Trump abandoned the Kurds. He gave the Russians one of our bases. This is Biden letting everyone know that the Obama Doctrine is back in effect.

Because servicing the needs of the 1% takes precedence, over the needs of those who voted for the needs of the masses!

Imagine TRILLIONS squandered on endless wars!

Along comes chrona, and whacks uncle Sammy and the superpower is on its knees!

Biden services the very same donors as the republicans.

But the voters on the hook for paying for the endless wars get exactly what from them?

Hence the SEMANTICS.   Biden's picks ARE the neocons from Bush jr 's era 30 years ago, and Obama's war mongers!

Biden was responding to attacks on  American soldiers.  He acted responsibly and effectively, unlike Trump supporting the bounty put on American soldiers by Putin, which Trump never addressed with Putin.  Too much of a coward to protect American soldiers whom Trump calls suckers and losers.  Biden will always protect American troops.

That's a lie.  Nobody other than Syria and Russia objected to the US bombing of Syria, which was trivial.

Commenter named "me" misunderstood. It's not Biden who bothers us, it is the two-faced news media that bothers us.

Because Bid n is a Democrat.

Because Biden plans to do more of it.

By the way, the drone strike that killed General Salami killed ten people, not "thousands."

Geesh, I thought the Republicans were bad to lie, lol.

It wasn't a war crime in either case.  If you break into someone's house and end up getting your head chopped with a machete, it was ultimately YOUR fault.

In both cases, Iran were the aggressors (as usual) and they are whining (as usual) that they paid a higher price than they inflicted.

It's sad how brainwashed people tend to sympathize with a known enemy, particularly when State-enforced hatred of America is a cultural norm in their country.

Pelosi and Schumer supported it when Trump did it, I guess you forgot. LOL
